Is this the same as De-escalation Training?
No. De-escalation Training builds a skill in your staff for handling tense situations as they happen. Threat Assessment is a structured evaluation process for a specific concern, deciding how serious a risk is and what your organization should do about it.
How urgent does a situation need to be before we contact you?
We work across a spectrum, from a single staff member who has flagged a safety concern (our Verbal Triage service) to a full Violence Risk Assessment on a specific individual, to a program-level audit with no acute incident at all. You don't need to wait for an acute crisis to engage us.
Will your assessment hold up if the situation ends in a legal or disciplinary process?
Our process is built to produce consistent, defensible decisions, and we regularly work alongside employment lawyers and in-house counsel on exactly this basis.
Do you only assess individuals, or can you review our whole program?
Both. Alongside individual Risk Triage and Violence Risk Assessment, we conduct Case Support & Program Review, including audits of the tools and processes your internal Threat Assessment and Management Team already uses.
